My BeamandGo Experience

I have known a lot of e-commerce sites for so long. That's where I usually buy stuff like shoes, clothing, bags, fashion items and even vouchers for a Mommy makeover, beauty, and body enhancements. Only a few online shops offer perishable goods, groceries and other basic daily needs and those few shops only deliver in Metro Manila, so I only got to enjoy their service whenever I am in the metro. I really love shopping online because they offer free deliveries and discounts sometimes. Having my items delivered to my doorsteps is so much convenient on my part as a freelancer and a work-at-home mom at the same time. But of course online shopping while beneficial is also troublesome. Many times I returned the items that were delivered because they are either defective or doesn't fit, and that's when a worrisome online shopping starts.

When a friend introduced BeamandGo, I thought "ah just the same online shops/e-commerce sites that exist today." But since that friend promised to put credits once I opened an account, I immediately gave it a try.

Signing up is FREE, just go to https://www.beamandgo.com/ then click "Sign up with Facebook" or fill in the form.

Fill in the necessary details, make sure your mobile number is correct and active because they will be sending your purchases via the SMS.

It takes only few minutes to register, once registration is done you will receive an SMS and an email confirming your successful registration with BeamandGo.

You may then log in to your account using the mobile number you used to register together with your password.

I sent my mobile number to the friend and he immediately reloaded the credits he promised. I received an SMS confirmation that my account was loaded with 1500 of credits which I can use to buy from BeamandGo store.

I logged in to my account and started shopping. From the photo below, you will see that I have a credit balance of Php1,500.00. I clicked the "STORE" tab on the upper right corner and from the list of stores that appeared I clicked Gaisano Mall and purchased 3 Gaisano Mall GC's worth Php500.00 each. They are currently offering a discount code MARCH10 which entitles the customer for a 10% off on any purchases from BeamandGo store. I used that Php1500.00 LoadandGo credit as payment together with the discount code so only Php1350.00 was deducted from my account.

You have to wait for more or less 2 hours for the GC's to be sent to your mobile number. I bought the GC's at around 10 am and received them before 12noon.

Then I went to Metro Market! Market! in BGC Taguig to shop. I went to their customer service to redeem the GC's. Upon confirmation, I was told that the GC's are only redeemable in Metro Gaisano Mall branches! Oh, boy! I clicked on the wrong store, sorry, it was my first time.

Fortunately, their customer service is very helpful in accommodating my concern. They immediately replaced the GC's with those redeemable in Metro Market! Market! and send them to my mobile number. At last, I was able to redeem the GC's and had fun shopping cashless for groceries.

Please watch my BeamandGo shopping experience via Youtube

Here are some helpful reminders when using BeamandGo:

For Metro Supermarket and Dep Store, the customer needs to proceed to the foreign exchange/credit department and show the SMS to the assigned personnel, who will key in codes in their desktop app. Once the codes have been validated, the assigned personnel will issue paper GCs.

For San Roque Supermarket - The codes are sent typically within 24 hours after the order is placed. The customer's chosen recipient can go to the assigned supermarket, choose and shop items he/she wishes to buy and then go to the cashier. They will need to just show the SMS with the codes to the cashier as payment.

For Super 8 - The codes are sent immediately (in real time). The customer's chosen recipient can go to the assigned supermarket, choose and shop items he/she wishes to buy and then go to the cashier. They will need to just show the SMS with the codes to the cashier as payment.

While most online shops offer mostly fashion items, BeamandGo offers us the convenience of purchasing our necessities, our basic daily needs in the supermarkets near us. We can easily send GC's to our loved ones almost anywhere in the Philippines. In Visayas and in Mindanao, there's Gaisano Mall, Iloilo Supermart, NCCC Supermarket, Prince Hypermart and Gaisano Capital. For Bicol and Mimaropa, there's LCC Supermarket, Citimart Supermarket and NCCC Supermarket. For North and South Luzon and Metro Manila, there's Metro Supermarket, Super 8, San Roque Supermarket, Jenra Supermarket, Citimart Supermarket and Johnson's Supermart.

BeamandGo not only provides us the joy of shopping in our favorite malls because they also offer free delivery services until June 30, 2017 via Ritemed shop. You can also shop for Unilab products - personal hygiene, health and wellness and more kits and packs - for babies, kids and adults with free delivery nationwide. Kata Digital products, Generika products and eLoad are also available from the Beamandgo store. You'll discover more services from BeamandGo once you've created an account with them.

What I admire about BeamandGo is the efficiency of their customer service. Not all customer service staff and technical team would respond to a customer's complaint that respectful and fast. A Customer Service agent is always available (8:00am to 12:00pm) in their website chat and FB to respond to inquiries about available branches around the Philippines. Typical questions on "how to pay" are easily answered in the local Filipino language or even Bisaya. Once a customer orders a GC online, a friendly customer service agent will contact the recipient to check whether the SMSs with the serial number and confirmation code were received. They also remind the recipient to provide a valid ID (government, school IDs, or senior citizen ID).

BeamandGo is another innovation that is really helpful to Filipino families, especially those with OFW's. It is the only online shop in the Philippines that offers wide variety of products - from groceries, to apparel and even medicines from selected pharmacies.

In my case, BeamandGo really something that I can depend on, because as a freelancer, my clients pay me thru PayPal. Since BeamandGo accepts PayPal as payment for purchases, I will no longer have trouble converting the virtual money into cash. I'll just use my PayPal credits to purchase groceries and other necessities from the BeamandGo stores.

How about you? Do you shop online? What items do you usually buy? Why don't you try BeamandGo? I can assure you of its hassle-free, worry-free service.

Kuya Ric's Chao Long House, your friendly Viet Food House in Cavite

How did Chao Long became a famous dish in the Philippines?

Decades ago, more than a thousand of Vietnamese flee to the Philippines, particularly in Palawan, during the communists invasion in Vietnam. That is when the Vietnamese dishes influenced the taste of Palaweños that even when the Vietnamese returned back to their homelands, their culture and culinary practices especially their food has been adopted by the local residents mainly in Puerto Princesa.

One of the delicacies that the Palaweños and even Pinoys from some parts of the archipelago, became fond of is the chao long. Originally, it is a rice porridge with pork innards, but as most Pinoys do, they made a variation to the traditional chao long to suit the taste and wants of customers. Nowadays, chao long is a soup of clear broth made from either beef or pork with rice noodles.

Most of the famous restaurants offering chao long can be found in Puerto Princesa, but do you know that you need not travel that far just to satisfy your craving for some Vietnamese dishes?

Somewhere in Cavite, lies a humble eatery offering great-tasting and flavorful chao long called Kuya Ric's D'Masters Chao Long House. They are currently offering 4 kinds of chao long soup - Beef Stew, Viet Bulalo with Rice Noodles, Pork Buto-buto and Pork Buto-buto with Beef Stew.

Beef Stew with Rice Noodles (Php75.00)

 Pork Buto-buto with Rice Noodles ( Php75.00 )

Their newest dish, Pancit Chao Long is somewhat similar to pancit bihon. It is the store's original recipe. Pancit Chao Long is rice noodles sauteed with vegetables such as carrots and cabbage or pechay Baguio topped with ground peanuts and fresh mongo sprouts. The pancit has mixed salty and sweet taste. If you want a bit more powerful taste, just squeeze in some calamansi to the pancit.

The soup is best paired with the French Bread which is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Their French Bread which came all the way from Palawan, has different fillings : garlic, chicken, cheese, beef, garlic and cheese and pork. The bread with garlic is priced at Php30.00 and the rest is at Php35.00.

You can also order extra soup for Php15.00 per bowl and extra rice noodles for Php20.00.

Bloggers with the friendly owners of Kuya Ric's Chao Long

It's kid-approved!

My thoughts on Kuya Ric's Chao Long House

The place is simple but clean and orderly. The painting on the wall shows a lot of dreamy places in Palawan which will give customers a relaxing ambiance. The soups taste good for its natural flavors. The fresh crunchy sprouts of mongo adds excitement to the soup, but I missed more cilantro - that's what Vietnamese dishes are known for. What I loved most is the Pancit Chao Long. I have been to many Vietnamese restaurants and tried various Viet dishes but they are not offering that kind. I admire how they incorporated the taste of the traditional Pinoy pancit to a Viet food. For the French Bread, they have to still improve on the consistency of the bread and the amount of its filling. The bread is no longer crunchy when exposed and not eaten immediately. The amount of serving is fair enough for its price. I am actually full after finishing a bowl of chao long soup.

Kuya Ric's D'Masters Chao Long can be found in Evangelista St. Brgy. Maliksi 3 Bacoor, Cavite. Follow thei IG for more updates Bacoor Chao Long

Experience Superb Cooling Option for More Comfort and Savings with the New Sharp J-Tech Inverter Premium Split-Type Air Conditioner

Whenever the cold remnants of the Christmas winds finally turn into the humid and almost non-existent breeze of summer, it is not surprising to see extra t-shirts tucked away inside backpacks or bags. And if you’re not the type to lounge by the pool or the beach to cool-off from the heat, then you are the type who finds great satisfaction relaxing indoors with another cool companion—the air conditioner.

Already a fixture in the Filipino household, the air conditioner offers a variety of models, units, and features. While most air cons come in with the basics like timer, a temperature control system, and several modes to fit different cooling preferences, a truly great air conditioner must always give something more than the usual—and the new Sharp J-Tech Inverter Premium Split-Type Air Conditioner will give you just that.

Built with the J-Tech Inverter design system, it not only gives you the optimum cooling performance but it also allows you to save up to 65% on energy. This air conditioner is also ready to perform a variety of cooling modes such as the Super Jet Mode that reduces 5oC in the temperature in only 5 minutes—making it 40% faster than the normal mode; the Breeze Mode that produces ideal rhythmic wind fluctuations that make the blast of cool air bearable, the Quiet Operation mode that allows you to enjoy the cooling comforts without any equipment or motor noise, and the 14oC Temperature Setting that enables you to experience the lowest possible temperature even during the warmest summer’s day. Each of these modes are also LED illuminated, color-coded to signify which feature or mode is currently in use and allowing you to easily recognize and change air con status when desired.

Aside from giving cooling comforts, the new Sharp J-Tech Inverter Premium Split-Type Air Conditioner is also equipped with the power of the Plasmacluster Ion Technology (PCI). This technology deactivates airborne threats by releasing positive and negative ions in the air. And with the new Plasmacluster Shower design, the PCI technology will continue to release these ions even if the air con unit is not in a cooling mode. This ensures that your home is safe from the dangers of viruses and bacteria anytime.

Choose the air conditioner that not only gives you the cooling comfort but offers some other valuable perks too. This summer, keep cool and stay cool for long periods of time without worrying about the expensive cost and unhealthy air.

The new Sharp J-Tech Inverter Premium Split-Type Air Conditioner—superb cooling performance for maximum comfort and savings.

“Last year marks our 5th year in this digital solution business here in the country. I can consider 2016 as a good year, since most of clients are now open to digital age and already appreciated the "quality vs price", that we have been explaining to them since I started the business. Moving forward, 2017 is promising. Just on our first quarter for this year, we already got so much in our pipeline. This year will also be the year for our expansion of the business. We will officially open Visayas branch and looking forward to reach Mindanao as well, ” Mr. Jayson So said.

Its first project outside the country is the biggest indoor LED displays in Shoppes at Parisian Casino, Macau. This pitch 4mm LED screen adds up  to the elegance and sophistication of the Temptations Store as it displays different brands  as well as its promotions. Moreover, several projects were done by Inewvation in the past year.

The Iconic Globe Store
Another iconic project has been made as Inewvation installed the first moving outdoor LED with pitch 6.67mm for Globe Iconic Store in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. To date, it has the lowest pitch installed for an outdoor LED using Nichia Japan chip in the Philippines.

Inewvation raised the bar on its creativity as it was able to install a Flex Series LED for B’lue Water. The pitch 6.60mm was magnificently wrapped around a huge bottle of the beverage.

Furthermore, more than selling LED products, Inewvation advocates Filipino patriotism.

“We are not the only provider of digital display and digital solution in this country. But upon seeing our screens indoor and outdoor, it really shows the quality we are providing, which in return, can add to the pride of this country and as a sign that the Philippines is not being left behind in terms of quality Digital / LED video wall. Preferred Uses Of CBD In Terms Of Health Issues

Of all the cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, THC seems to often outshine the others. This primary cannabinoid is a psychoactive compound that provides a natural anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety, and anti-epileptic effect. But, Cannabidiol, or CBD, is just as beneficial, especially when combined with THC. It may not have the colorful high that you associate with marijuana, and it typically doesn’t offer any noticeable effect when used in isolation, but when used with THC, it boosts medical marijuana’s benefits.

CBD offers relaxing effects that tend to combat feelings of panic or paranoia, which can sometimes be felt when people take marijuana in its various forms. CBD has also been applauded for its remarkably positive effects on health, and it is now used for dozens of health-related applications. If you’ve searched for “marijuana delivery near me” in hopes of finding a high-CBD medicine, Green Door West can assist you. Here are some of the uses our patients purchase CBD products for:

Addiction to Cigarettes

Some studies show that there can be a purpose for CBD in the cigarette-withdrawal process. In a placebo-controlled, double-blind study, 24 cigarette smokers received either a CBD inhaler or a placebo. Researchers asked participants to take an inhaler puff when they had an urge to smoke a cigarette. Over a week, placebo inhalers saw no change in number of cigarettes consumed, yet CBD inhalers dropped their cigarette usage by 40%.

Acne Issues

The Journal of Clinical Investigation published a study that showed CBD provides treatment for acne. Researchers used CBD on human sebaceous glands and they came to a conclusion that the substance could act as an effective anti-inflammatory agent, as it inhibits lipid synthesis.

Diabetes

One study showed that CBD prevented the development of diabetes in mice who were non-obese to begin with. There is not a direct effect of CBD on glucose levels, but CBD prevented production of IL-12, which is important because this compound plays a huge part in many autoimmune diseases.

Other ways patients are using CBD to treat health issues include:

  • Treatment for Fibromyalgia
  • Help with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Treatment of Schizophrenia
  • Help with Crohn’s Disease
  • Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis
