There are a few ways in which you could organize your cleaning schedule. We will present you with one of the most efficient ones.

DAILY, MONTHLY AND YEARLY TASK

One way to organize your schedule is to make a list of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tasks. By doing this, you will not have to worry about a dozen things, and your mind will only be focused on the task at hand.

DAILY TASKS

For yours and your family's sake, there are some tasks that need to be done on a day to day basis in order to prevent any health hazards from coming to life.

1. Make your bed. Come on, this takes a few seconds of your time, but it makes a huge impact on the perception of how clean the bedroom looks.

2. Do the dishes. Try not to procrastinate. Nowadays, in the era of dishwashers, cleaning them has never been simpler. You could turn it into a nightly habit. Every day before you go to sleep turn on the dishwasher and empty it first thing in the morning.

3. Do the laundry. This is a daily must especially if you are living with your family. You could do this at the same time you turn on your dishwasher. So, before bed time, let the machines do the work for you.

4. Quick wiping of the bathroom. Kitchen and the bathroom are two of the most bacteria-friendly places in your home. You have to make sure to give your bathroom surfaces a quick wipe every single day. Using an all-purpose cleaner will do the job just fine.

5. Countertops must be clean. Each time you finish cooking, make it a habit to at least rinse those kitchen surfaces.

WEEKLY TASKS

1. Scrubbing the bathroom. At least once a week you must dedicate some more attention to properly cleaning your bathroom. If you can, try to rely on some natural products for disinfecting purposes, like baking soda, or white vinegar.

2. Vacuum and mop the floors. A lot of debris can be found laying around our floors that has been brought in through our shoes. Do the vacuuming first, then move on to mopping.

3. Do the dusting. However, when you do it, make sure you start from the top and move your way down to the bottom.

4. Changing the bedding should be on your weekly list. Our bodily fluids are all over the places, but they are mostly on the bedding.

5. Wipe down your kitchen appliances, including the microwave. There is a good trick for cleaning your microwave. Mix some white vinegar and water in a glass bowl, and put it in the microwave for 5 minutes (set the timer for 2 minutes, but leave the mixture inside for 3 more minutes to let the steam do its job).

MONTHLY TASKS

1. Dust your blinds and ceiling fans. If you can, try not to postpone this task. Once in a month is just enough, but do not make it once in 6 months.

2. Clean behind and under the furniture. Again, if you wait for more than one month, you are not doing your health a favor.

3. Clean the inside of your fridge. Before you do, of course, do the purge. See what goods have expired and toss them away.

4. Do the oven. People rarely clean the inside of their oven, but you should really consider turning it into a habit. Scrub it as much as you possibly can.

5. Clean your drains. Baking soda and vinegar are a match made in heaven when it comes to cleaning your drains.

YEARLY TASKS

1. Carpets and upholstery. At least once a year you should consider doing a deep clean of your carpets and upholstery.

2. Deep clean your windows. It would be great to clean your windows a bit more often than once a year, but this will also do.

3. Gutters. When seasons change, all kinds of things end up in our gutters. You do not want to make thing complicated for yourself, so it would be smart to clear them out at least once a year (fall time would be the best time).

1. Monday - Kitchen.

2. Tuesday - Bathroom.

3. Wednesday - Bedroom.

4. Thursday - Living room

5. Friday - Dining room.

Bless Las Paellas, Opens its Doors in Laguna

For more than 300 years, the Philippine archipelago has been a colony of the Spaniards. They left influences in our traditions, culture, religion, beliefs, architecture, lifestyle and most of all food. The colonialism is part of our history and yes, most Filipinos learned to embrace up to these days the distinctive Spanish cuisine.

Bless Las Paellas, is one of the many proofs of Spanish influence to the life of many Filipinos. Last October 15, 2017; this restaurant which specializes in Spanish food has opened its second branch in the south - at the Vista Mall Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.

To usher the opening of the new branch, a mass was held at the ground level of Vista Mall, just in front of the new store. It was attended by the owners of the food venture, business partners Jessie Maloles and Nelson Mendoza, their friends, family and selected members of the media.

The mass was followed by the blessing of the store.

After the blessing was a very entertaining program hosted by Ryan Tercero and Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Angelle Delos Reyes. There were dance performances from selected Flamenco dancers and from the kids of Quezon City Dance Sports Association.

Neil Perez, a pageant cop who was crowned Mr. International 2014, entertained the guests with a song number.

The highlight of the program was a fashion show featuring the stunning Spanish-inspired gowns created by Rye Baile and Marlo Javier. Models and beauty queens Bb. Pilipinas International 2001-Maricarl Tolosa, Miss Global Queen 2002 COX-JP Abinuman, April Tanhueco graced the show as they walked the ramp together with other models.

To cap the event off, guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner which included some of Bless Las Paellas best sellers.

A shocking 64% of Filipinas DO NOT wash their hands at all after using a mall toilet.

Before eating and cooking
It was observed that 60% of females washed their hands with water ONLY before cooking.
Before feeding the kids, 40% washed their hands with water ONLY.

Before and after bonding:
80% of Filipinos DO NOT wash their hands after shaking hands with another person
40% of Filipinos DO NOT wash their hands before touching young children

After playing or travelling
49% DO NOT wash their hands after using their mobile phones
50% DO NOT wash their hands after traveling on public transportation

If these statistics seem particularly innocuous, keep in mind that one of the fastest ways to spread germs and diseases is by human contact and ingesting contaminated food. Clearly, Filipinos haven’t nurtured the habit of proper hand washing, and based on statistics, a great number do not care. There’s a great opportunity to educate citizens that washing hands with soap can effectively remove disease-causing germs and is the most basic way to prevent oneself from getting sick.

Did you know that 1.5 million children around the world die every year due to diarrhea? As shocking as it may seem, diarrhea is the second most common cause of death among kids. UNICEF has declared that pneumonia takes the lives 1.8 million children globally each year. Furthermore, in a study done by DOH locally, it has been found out that pneumonia is the number one cause of death among Filipino children of age 1-14 years. Believe it or not, the simple habit of proper handwashing with an anti-bacterial soap can be an effective way of reducing these incidents.
