My BeamandGo Experience

I have known a lot of e-commerce sites for so long. That's where I usually buy stuff like shoes, clothing, bags, fashion items and even vouchers for a Mommy makeover, beauty, and body enhancements. Only a few online shops offer perishable goods, groceries and other basic daily needs and those few shops only deliver in Metro Manila, so I only got to enjoy their service whenever I am in the metro. I really love shopping online because they offer free deliveries and discounts sometimes. Having my items delivered to my doorsteps is so much convenient on my part as a freelancer and a work-at-home mom at the same time. But of course online shopping while beneficial is also troublesome. Many times I returned the items that were delivered because they are either defective or doesn't fit, and that's when a worrisome online shopping starts.

When a friend introduced BeamandGo, I thought "ah just the same online shops/e-commerce sites that exist today." But since that friend promised to put credits once I opened an account, I immediately gave it a try.

Signing up is FREE, just go to https://www.beamandgo.com/ then click "Sign up with Facebook" or fill in the form.

Fill in the necessary details, make sure your mobile number is correct and active because they will be sending your purchases via the SMS.

It takes only few minutes to register, once registration is done you will receive an SMS and an email confirming your successful registration with BeamandGo.

You may then log in to your account using the mobile number you used to register together with your password.

I sent my mobile number to the friend and he immediately reloaded the credits he promised. I received an SMS confirmation that my account was loaded with 1500 of credits which I can use to buy from BeamandGo store.

I logged in to my account and started shopping. From the photo below, you will see that I have a credit balance of Php1,500.00. I clicked the "STORE" tab on the upper right corner and from the list of stores that appeared I clicked Gaisano Mall and purchased 3 Gaisano Mall GC's worth Php500.00 each. They are currently offering a discount code MARCH10 which entitles the customer for a 10% off on any purchases from BeamandGo store. I used that Php1500.00 LoadandGo credit as payment together with the discount code so only Php1350.00 was deducted from my account.

You have to wait for more or less 2 hours for the GC's to be sent to your mobile number. I bought the GC's at around 10 am and received them before 12noon.

Then I went to Metro Market! Market! in BGC Taguig to shop. I went to their customer service to redeem the GC's. Upon confirmation, I was told that the GC's are only redeemable in Metro Gaisano Mall branches! Oh, boy! I clicked on the wrong store, sorry, it was my first time.

Fortunately, their customer service is very helpful in accommodating my concern. They immediately replaced the GC's with those redeemable in Metro Market! Market! and send them to my mobile number. At last, I was able to redeem the GC's and had fun shopping cashless for groceries.

Here are some helpful reminders when using BeamandGo:

For Metro Supermarket and Dep Store, the customer needs to proceed to the foreign exchange/credit department and show the SMS to the assigned personnel, who will key in codes in their desktop app. Once the codes have been validated, the assigned personnel will issue paper GCs.

For San Roque Supermarket - The codes are sent typically within 24 hours after the order is placed. The customer's chosen recipient can go to the assigned supermarket, choose and shop items he/she wishes to buy and then go to the cashier. They will need to just show the SMS with the codes to the cashier as payment.

For Super 8 - The codes are sent immediately (in real time). The customer's chosen recipient can go to the assigned supermarket, choose and shop items he/she wishes to buy and then go to the cashier. They will need to just show the SMS with the codes to the cashier as payment.

While most online shops offer mostly fashion items, BeamandGo offers us the convenience of purchasing our necessities, our basic daily needs in the supermarkets near us. We can easily send GC's to our loved ones almost anywhere in the Philippines. In Visayas and in Mindanao, there's Gaisano Mall, Iloilo Supermart, NCCC Supermarket, Prince Hypermart and Gaisano Capital. For Bicol and Mimaropa, there's LCC Supermarket, Citimart Supermarket and NCCC Supermarket. For North and South Luzon and Metro Manila, there's Metro Supermarket, Super 8, San Roque Supermarket, Jenra Supermarket, Citimart Supermarket and Johnson's Supermart.

BeamandGo not only provides us the joy of shopping in our favorite malls because they also offer free delivery services until June 30, 2017 via Ritemed shop. You can also shop for Unilab products - personal hygiene, health and wellness and more kits and packs - for babies, kids and adults with free delivery nationwide. Kata Digital products, Generika products and eLoad are also available from the Beamandgo store. You'll discover more services from BeamandGo once you've created an account with them.

What I admire about BeamandGo is the efficiency of their customer service. Not all customer service staff and technical team would respond to a customer's complaint that respectful and fast. A Customer Service agent is always available (8:00am to 12:00pm) in their website chat and FB to respond to inquiries about available branches around the Philippines. Typical questions on "how to pay" are easily answered in the local Filipino language or even Bisaya. Once a customer orders a GC online, a friendly customer service agent will contact the recipient to check whether the SMSs with the serial number and confirmation code were received. They also remind the recipient to provide a valid ID (government, school IDs, or senior citizen ID).

BeamandGo is another innovation that is really helpful to Filipino families, especially those with OFW's. It is the only online shop in the Philippines that offers wide variety of products - from groceries, to apparel and even medicines from selected pharmacies.

In my case, BeamandGo really something that I can depend on, because as a freelancer, my clients pay me thru PayPal. Since BeamandGo accepts PayPal as payment for purchases, I will no longer have trouble converting the virtual money into cash. I'll just use my PayPal credits to purchase groceries and other necessities from the BeamandGo stores.

How about you? Do you shop online? What items do you usually buy? Why don't you try BeamandGo? I can assure you of its hassle-free, worry-free service.
