Burgoo American Bar and Restaurant - good food, good service for the whole family

It was in April 1999 when Burgoo American Bar and Restaurant was founded by Specialty Restaurant Inc. It was created out of the ambition to give costumers their money’s worth, friendly ambience, quality food, good service and more. This idea of Ma. Theresa Rodriguez, Burgoo’s chairman of the board and Managing Director Albert Alavera for the restaurant to standout from all the competition in the food industry; has become Burgoo Bar and Restaurant's vision. To complete the brilliant minds behind Burgoo are General Manager Eileen Necio, Vice Chairman Vivencio Rodriguez, and Board of Directors Monette Salapantan, Maritoni Raymundo, Martin Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez and Matthew Rodriguez.

Eventually, the first Burgoo restaurant was established along Tomas Morato Extension, Quezon City. It was immediately followed by a branch in Rockwell and now after seventeen years of successfully bringing good food, cozy ambience and efficient service, not to mention its reasonable prices and huge servings, Burgoo has now thirteen branches all over Metro Manila and key cities located at The Podium in Ortigas; Gateway Mall, Araneta Center; Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas; The Block, SM City North EDSA; SM Mall of Asia, Pasay; SM City Marikina; SM Southmall in Las Pinas; Fairview Terraces Mall; The District in Cavite; Starmall in Taguig; and at recently opened Burgoo at Solenad, Nuvali.

Carrying the banner “At Burgoo it’s always a family treat”, this favorite family restaurant likewise gives every customer the feeling of belonging. True to its mission statement, all managers and staff of Burgoo always keep this in mind: “To deliver a memorable event in their guests’ lives by providing them with the best attention in terms of service, quality food, cleanliness, and value-for-money.

Moreover, Mr. Albert Alavera, managing director and the man behind the success of Burgoo, swears of providing their guests with “legendary service through “CARE” – Customers are Always Recognized with Extra-special attention. Here at Burgoo, we give importance to the customers’ needs by treating them like members of our own family,” he adds.

Through the years Burgoo has continued to provide us tempting and delectable meals that come in truly huge servings you can share amongst your companions. For starters, one should not miss the house specialty Burgoo Stew (a mouth-watering concoction of spring chicken, tenderloin steak, and choice pork meats, blended with different mix of vegetables such as zucchini and many more. Whet your appetite with Fried Calamari, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Supreme Nachos, Beef or Chicken Fajitas, or Supreme Sampler (a combination of Burgoo’s well-loved appetizers). For salads, highly recommended are Taco Salad or Seafood Caesar Salad. Among the bestsellers are Oklahoma-Style Grilled Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Pork Chops, Country-Style Fried Chicken, and Burgoo Kebabs, etc.

Likewise, the restaurant takes pride in its famous Hamburgoo, a special burger with a mixture of choice chicken, beef and pork. If pasta or pizza is what you want, Burgoo recommends Seafood Linguini, Penne Arrabiata, Angel Hair Classico, Taco Mexicano and Margherita Pizza. Finally, finish up with Brownie ala Mode or Oreo Cheesecake for dessert. How about bottomless Iced Tea or Lemonade or your favorite soda to quench that thirst?

At present, Burgoo lunched quite a number of new and equally delicious dishes in its menu (which now comes in new and more appealing lay out). Have a taste of Cheddar Cheese Fries, Boneless Buffalo Chicken, Shrimp Popcorn Caesar, Manhattan’s Best, Pizza Sampler, Chicken Diane, Surf and Steak, Grilled Angus Rib Eye, Grilled Porterhouse, Shrimp and Chips, Shrimp Fajitas, etc – all of them are created for your dinning pleasure!

Likewise, most of Burgoo outlets underwent renovations to keep with the taste of the dinning public. The eclectic and New York-inspired designs has always been the trademark of Burgoo. At most of Burgoo outlets, colors brown, violet, green, and yellow dominates the place, complementing its lovely and charming ambience. A party room or function room in selected outlets are also made for a more intimate dining. Moreover, Burgoo is popular for its unique tabletop where you could write, draw or sketch anything your mind speaks.
