Congressman Teodorico Nonong Haresco - no more promises but real progress for Aklan

Congressman Haresco's noble dream for the whole province of Aklan is now just a step away from becoming a reality after winning the midterm elections.

Vowing to continue what he had promised during the campaign, he assured to represent the voices of the people in need for better health programs, livelihood and education apart from the infrastructure projects that he has long been doing for his beloved province.

Now that he is in the House of Representatives, he is extending his help for people's medical needs, especially for those who are keeping their faith for healing at the Heart Center, Kidney Center and the PGH. As we all know, these health facilities have the most number of people who deserve to be noticed and be given utmost help from our leaders.

As a firm believer that education is the foundation for a progressive country and a liberal nation, his scholarship programs will not just be given to his constituents but to every deserving individual who struggles to get a decent education in college. With this move, Haresco is not just living his vision for a more educated and civilized Filipinos but he is also making every student's dream for success in their chosen field more real and more achievable. He promises to help those students who aim high for their education which is why he is willing to send those deserving to the best educational institutions in the country such as De La Salle, Ateneo, and University of the Philippines.

One of Congressman Nonong's greatest vision for the province of Aklan is to make it the preferred place for retirees in terms of security, peace and order and livelihood in the region. As a matter of fact, there are a few pilots from the Air Asia who showed interest to settle for good in Aklan after their service to the company. 

The accessibility from the province to Manila which now takes less than an hour also makes it a better choice for retirees. Congressman Haresco sees a very positive outlook on the matter which is why he is very eager to bring the development to the whole province.

He also mentioned his long term goals for the microentrepreneurs of his province. I can still remember how big is the heart of Nonong for these small business owners and start-ups that he wanted to shield them from the "threats" - the big corporations wanting to own parts of the province to put up their self-serving projects. 

Congressman Teodorico Nonong Haresco is the bearer of the Nacionalista Party as Member of the House of Representatives for the Second Provincial District of Aklan which is composed of the towns of Buruanga, Ibajay, Lezo, Makato, Malay (where Boracay Island is located), Malinao, Nabas, Numancia, and Tangalan.

Congressman Haresco has won the hearts of Aklanons with 92, 846 votes, leaving behind the other three hopefuls of the position.

Starting July 1, 2019, he will start serving the new district of Aklan with a total population of 277, 505 to date.
