Get another dose of kitchen and food hacks in Home Foodie Season 5

A typical Filipino household is naturally hospitable and gregarious and food is the basis of their social life. Whenever we are expecting a visitor at our house, we would cook our specialties from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts.

From hospitality rise our love for cooking too. In fact, we love to watch cooking shows and demos, cooking competitions, and the likes and we even buy the most expensive cookbooks for unique recipes and complex dishes that we can prepare and cook for any type and kind of occasions.

Our love for food, cooking, and eating make each one of us a Home Foodie.

And to level up and fuel our passion for food, San Miguel Pure Foods brings us the 5th season of Home Foodie show with Chefs Yen, Martin, and John, together with the real-life couple, Drew Arellano and Iya Villania. Just like the previous seasons, they will continue to teach and entertain Home Foodies with resto-inspired and classics with twists but with new and level-up ideas, easy-to-prepare as well as budget-friendly recipes.

This is an exciting season for all viewers because Home foodies went out of the kitchen for fresh ambiance. Some of the cooking demos are done on location with a refreshing view of the Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges as the kitchen backdrop.

To engage more with the Ka-Home Foodie community on recipe ideas, questions and needs that can be addressed by the show, Drew will roam around the city to personally talk to the viewers and netizens.

The recipes were carefully planned to make sure they are ka-Home Foodie approved, can be easily replicated by more households and are suited for every member of the family. Lucky Home Foodies will also get the chance to be invited to the remote kitchen to watch the cooking demos and try the featured dishes.

During the launch of the show, SMFP let us experience being a Home Foodie for a day. They opened the Culinary Center of SMPF and prepared Madalicious and Affordalicious meals for everyone. My most approved dishes are the Chili Chicken, Sisig Fried Rice, and the Tokwa n TJ. Each of the dishes has a twist in taste, they all taste good and they are really easy to prepare, which make them a perfect menu for anyone who is always on the go.

In season 5 of Home Foodie, expect more surprises as the family gets bigger. Watch out for more dishes that are budget-friendly yet nutritious and delicious, plus get ready to be entertained by the very bubbly personality of Iya and Drew. The show will surely give you a dose of kitchen and food knowledge at the start of the day, so you can be guided before you head on to the nearest supermarket or wet market.

Home Foodie Season 5 premieres this June 10, 2019 after Unang Hirit in GMA7 Kapuso Network.
