Mathemagis Singapore Maths Comes to town!

MatheMagis Singapore Maths expands in the south as it opened its newest branch in Alabang Town Center.

MatheMagis Singapore Maths is an after-school Singapore Maths enrichment program for kids ages 4 - 12 years. Last November 19, 2016 it announced the opening of its newest branch in Muntinlupa City, which is in an accessible and convenient location that would cater to a number of students from schools situated in the south.

MatheMagis Singapore Maths is based on the internationally-acclaimed and proven effective curriculum and teaching approach established by the Singapore Ministry of Education. The program focuses on equipping children with problem solving and other 21st century skills for independent learning, and conceptual understanding, as opposed to rote learning and memorization, while nurturing their interests in Maths.

In fact, a study published by the UCL Institute of Education and Cambridge University in 2015, showed that children who were taught the Singaporean "math mastery" approach learn faster than their average classmates, making, on average, an extra month of progress in a calendar year.

Singapore Math is acclaimed worldwide for its unique concept progression, complemented by its spiraling and visual way of teaching tools, interesting and meaningful hands on learning experiences, diverse teaching materials, with a personalized, caring approach to teaching that addresses each child's learning needs. Moreover, MatheMagis believes that motivation is key to learning, developing and confidence and achievement.

MatheMagis is not just for Singapore-maths users at school. While Math topics are similar across different schools, non-Singapore Math users at school can learn special Singapore  Math problem solving strategies that they can apply to their own classrooms.

The Alabang branch is open from Mondays to Saturdays: Mondays from 1pm to 7pm, Tuesdays to Fidays from 11am to 7pm and on Saturdays 10am to 5pm.

Mathemagis Singapore Maths currently has 6 branches - Serendra, Cedar Makati, Timog, Katipunan, SM Center and Alabang Town Center. Mathemagis has partner satellite centers around the metropolis.
