Last May 15, 2013, Pres. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino signed a consolidated bill setting the Philippine Standard Time (PST), institutionalizing the "National Time Consciousness Week" on the first week of the year into a law.
Republic Act 10535 or the Philippine Standard Time Act of 2013, requires all national and local government offices as well as broadcasting organizations to display PhST as provided by the DOST’s Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the country’s official timekeeper.
It aims to set the PST in all official sources throughout the country, to provide funds for the installation, operation and maintenance of synchronized time devices to be displayed in key public places and to declare the first week of every year as National Time Consciousness Week.
It's the first week of the year. Let's support the observance of National Time Consciousness Week. Let's synchronize our timepieces, phones & other gadgets to the Philippine Standard Time.

I am done - on my phones, timepieces & desktop PC. What are you waiting for, synchronize now!
