TP LaunchPad Empowers Over 19,000 Filipino Students in 2025, Strengthening the Future of the IT-BPM Workforce

TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance) capped off a landmark year for TP LaunchPad, its flagship university relations and student empowerment program, after reaching more than 19,000 students nationwide in 2025. Through expanded academic partnerships, immersive industry experiences, and inclusive workforce initiatives, TP LaunchPad continues to play a vital role in preparing Filipino youth for careers in the country’s fast-growing IT-BPM industry.

Designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry readiness, TP LaunchPad significantly expanded its reach in 2025, partnering with over 40 universities and colleges across the Philippines. The program’s success reflects TP’s sustained investment in talent development and its commitment to building a strong, future-ready workforce that supports the continued growth of the Philippine IT-BPM sector.

Building Industry-Ready Talent Across the Philippines

In 2025, TP LaunchPad implemented more than 60 career-focused events nationwide and facilitated 22 immersive site tours, allowing students from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to experience TP’s world-class operations firsthand. These activities generated thousands of career leads and gave students valuable exposure to actual workplace environments, helping them better understand the expectations and opportunities within the IT-BPM industry.

Through interview preparation workshops, mock interviews, campus tours, job fairs, skills training, and mentorship sessions, TP LaunchPad supports young Filipinos as they transition from school to professional life. By equipping students with practical knowledge and career confidence, the program helps ensure that graduates are not only employable but also competitive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

“Through TP LaunchPad, we can impart talent development resources and career opportunities to the youth and the future workforce,” said Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of TP in the Philippines. “By investing in their development, we help ensure a sustainable talent pipeline for the Philippine IT-BPM industry.”

Strengthening Academe Partnerships for Near-Hire Readiness

A major highlight of TP LaunchPad in 2025 was the expansion of its academic partnerships, including a new strategic collaboration with Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna (MMCL) and its digital learning arm, Mapua Malayan Digital College (MMDC). The partnership focuses on designing learning programs that align academic curricula with IT-BPM industry demands, equipping graduates with near-hire readiness and relevant digital skills.

In addition, MMDC extended full scholarship grants to five deserving TP employees through the MMDC Continuing Education Scholarship Program, allowing working professionals to pursue higher education while advancing their careers. This initiative underscores TP’s belief in lifelong learning and internal talent development.

Driving Inclusion and Accessible Skills Development

Beyond academic alliances, TP LaunchPad achieved key milestones in workforce inclusivity in 2025. TP in the Philippines expanded its impact sourcing initiatives by accommodating participants who are deaf or hard of hearing, reinforcing the company’s commitment to inclusive employment and equal opportunities for people with disabilities.

Another significant achievement was the strengthened partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) under its Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program. This collaboration made IT-BPM skills training more accessible to individuals from underserved communities, further supporting national workforce development goals.

“Our investment in the Filipino workforce is something we take very seriously,” Johnson added. “Through strategic partnerships, we are able to create meaningful opportunities, empower communities, and deliver long-term positive impact.”

Shaping the Future of the Philippine IT-BPM Industry

As TP LaunchPad continues to scale, the program is set to unlock even more collaborations with academic institutions, government agencies, and local communities. With its wide reach, strong industry-academe linkages, and commitment to inclusion, TP LaunchPad remains central to TP’s mission of empowering Filipino youth and strengthening the country’s IT-BPM workforce—ensuring that the Philippines remains a global leader in digital business services.
