Couple's Must-see Places in Staffordshire

Staffordshire, a landlocked county in the West Midlands of England is renowned for the craftsmanship of its world-famous potteries, some beautiful countryside, and breathtaking thirty thousand acres of forest and heathland further south. The hills in the north are rising in places to 1,500 feet above a river which is broken by several picturesque wooded valleys. The center and south of the county are generally level, with a few low valleys intersected by the rivers.

In the center of the county is a wide tract of heather and forest known to be a haven for wildlife such as foxes, wild deer, badgers, red squirrels, and green woodpeckers. The southern part of the county is known for the iron, coal and other associated heavy industries in the area.

This hilly county, with wild moorlands and uplands and an area of natural beauty, can be a romantic dating site. Staffordshire dating can be done in the middle regions where the landscape is low and undulating. Peak District which is a National Park, offers breath-taking views and fantastic opportunities for pastimes such as cycling, walking and wildlife watching. It is also a nice dating destination as couples can hike, visit many caves during fine weather or enjoy equestrian events and horticultural displays.

Couples looking for a unique dating in Staffordshire  can also try Stoke-on-Trent, also popularly known as "the city of five towns." The city is an all-season destination where the weather is temperate, with rain possible throughout the year. The place, a world center for fine ceramics; is known for its pottery industry where Potteries Museum & Art Gallery displays locally made ceramics, decorative arts, and a WWII Spitfire. The nearby monkey forest could also be a great venue for couples searching for some adventurous dating.

Alton village in the county is noted for the theme park Alton Towers, built around the site of Alton Mansion. The village contains numerous buildings of architectural interest where Staffordshire singles would be interested in. There's the Alton Castle, a gothic revival building on the site of a much earlier fortification, situated on the edge of the village on a high cliff with views over the Churnet Valley.

Alton Towers Resort, often shortened to Alton Towers, covering a total area of 910 acres; is a theme park resort that incorporates a theme park, water park, mini-golf, and hotel complex.
The park operates seven major roller coasters and three minor ones and also features 3 water rides. The complex also includes conference facilities, a crazy golf course, and a high ropes course.

Whether you are a couple looking for a great museum, who wants some glimpse of history or to indulge in cafes with some good food such as the Staffordshire oatcakes, who wants to try something different such as pottery painting, pot and flower making, Staffordshire has the best places to see and adventures to do.

If you want more of Staffordshire, you should check out a few dating websites in the area to help you look for someone to be with during the tour. A great experience in the county is better shared with someone dear.
