Dampa Feast Comes Home to the Philippines

Dampa is a Filipino word which refers to a primitive structure used by ancient Filipinos as a shelter. It's more common term is "bahay kubo" a small house or hut which is made up of bamboo and nipa.

Dampa or Bahay Kubo is the Philippines national shelter. It is the symbol of simplicity and the humble life of every Pinoy. It is significant because it reminds every Pinoy to be as humble and as grateful whatever their status in life might be.

In this era, Dampa refers to a Pinoy-inspired restaurant where anyone can dine in with their favorite seafood dishes cooked the way they want it to. Still constructed the traditional way - using bamboo and nipa - Dampa Feast is one of the best and the most visited places where seafood lovers, both local and international; flock to satisfy their cravings.

Dampa Feast, opened in September, 2018 is located in Mexico Pampanga. It is the same Dampa Feast which is very popular in Dubai and Kuwait. True to dampa's definition; the restaurant's interior humbly features wooden tables, chairs and fences; walls and counters made of wooden and bamboo, and everything that resembles the laidback life of a typical Filipino.

It may not look grand on the outside or in the inside but it takes pride with its fresh, tasty and hearty seafood dishes served generously. This is the perfect place if you're missing home-cooked meals but has limited time to prepare and cook.

This newest seafood haven in Pampanga is a medley of American seafood boil/grill and Middle Eastern unique flavors in one humble yet comfy, homy and friendly place. This is also the best place in the north to enjoy a boodle feast. Pinoys are undeniably fans of boodle feast, they enjoy eating with bare hands because the food tastes even better when the hands get dirty.

Not a fan of boodle fight? No worries, because they have ala carte selections to choose from.

Since rice is Pinoy's staple food, most diners are surely looking forward to an unlirice treat at any resto they would like to dine in. Well, Dampa Feast got you covered with the "Dump-A-Sea-Feast."

They will literally dump the freshest catch straight to your table (crabs, calamari, shrimps, mussels, clam, and corn) with UNLIMITED RICE! The treat also comes with a choice of Dampa Feast unique sauces- Soya Seafood, Salted Butter, TexMex, Mexicana, Schezwan, Chipotle Butter, or Cajun Spice. Also, you can enjoy 2 choices of belly-filling Fishbowl Mocktails: Sex appeal, Bluer Than Blue, Lindsay Lohan or Incredible Hulk. All you have to do is bring a group of 3-5 pax and enjoy it.
