Lazada Collaborates with Five Renowned Milk Companies to to ensure hassle-free, worry-free online shopping of Milk Products

There are a lot of milk brands in the market, and the wide variety brings confusion and worry to parents; whether buying online or via the physical store. You can't blame parents for being skeptical when it comes to formula milk because the health of their kids is the one at risk if they would get a non-authentic product from the store.

Lazada Cabuyao Plant Tour in Line with the Launching

To give Moms an overview of what actually is happening inside Lazada's biggest facility in the country - the Lazada eLogistics Plant in Cabuyao - they invited a few Moms to join the tour inside the plant. 

It was surprising and at the same time amazing to see very organized and systematic processes from inbound to outbound and shipping. The warehouse is clean and orderly, fully automated and the products inside were stocked properly in rigid and very stable metal storage racks. There was a huge stock for baby essentials such as disposable diapers and milk formula, proving that these are one of the fastest moving consumer in Lazada. Everyone is busy despite the fact that human interaction with the product is limited because of the barcode system that they implement in every order.

The warehouse is not air-conditioned but is well-ventilated. During the QnA with the executives of Lazada and the milk companies, I raised a concern about the required maintaining temperature when storing milk products. 

I was worried that hot temperature might affect the quality of the formula milk, but the executives of the milk companies assured that the quality of milk products decreases only once the packaging is opened; so there is nothing to worry about if a milk formula is stored in a room or lower temperature.

I have been to a lot of warehouses because I used to work in semi-conductor and electronics companies before, and I can say that this one is the best so far in a lot of aspects. 

During the lunch break, I was able to talk with Ms. Chavarot and I found out that the milk products with the guarantee seal are mostly those intended for kids more than 2 years of age because of the Milk Code; so don't be surprised if you see more milk for under 2 years old without the seal.

You might see milk formula that are sold at a lower price than those at the Lazmall, but you can't guarantee that they have the best quality for your kid. Let's not settle for anything less when it comes to the nourishment of our kids.
