Moms make house a HOME, which is why almost every Mom loves DIY and home improvements. We love to turn our plain and ordinary house into a warm and comfortable place for the family.

But as Moms would want to beautify the house, they also make sure that what they buy for home improvement fits the budget. Good thing The Home Depot is a haven for Moms like me who is always on the lookout for savings, discounts, and deals that could give more value for the money.

Many times Home Depot saved me from spending too much with home fixtures, bathroom accessories, and other stuff I need for minor and major home renovations.

I remember one summertime when their bathroom accessories went on a buy one get one promo. It was perfect because we have two bathrooms in the house, but they are both plain. I was able to buy a mirror, stainless towel hanger, soap dish, toothbrush holder, etc; bathroom shelf and more. Since they were all on BOGO promo, I was able to repair and decorate both of our bathrooms. Now both bathrooms are a nice place to have a relaxing bath.

Washers and dryers, for me, are a must-have inside the house. We are a family of 5 and we are all busy - kids are all studying and hubby and I are both working freelance. Kids usually have a lot of activities in school, and we (husband and I) are both freelancers who travel every day to meet clients. We don't have time to wash the clothes by hands to save on electricity, water, etc; but if we can buy a really efficient washer, maybe a fully-automatic front-loader, with discounts or through financing with good offer and less interest; then that would be a big help for all of us.

Tools are for the husbands. Just like most Dads, hubby loves to collect tools, especially power tools because he doesn't want a contractor doing major house renovations and improvements.
