GLOBAL-LINK MP Launches Virtual Trade Show Series for 2020

Global-Link MP Events International, Inc. has announced the launch of its newest platform by VX Events, marking a significant shift in how trade events will be conducted. Starting in October, four of its flagship trade events will transition to virtual editions. These events are Pack Print Plas Philippines VX (October 8-14), Hotel Suppliers Show VX (October 15-21), Beauty & Wellness Manila VX (October 22-28), and PHILCONSTRUCT VX (November 5-11).

“The events industry is going to continue to change for the months and years to come,” said Patrick-Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP. “While we hope for things to go back to normal, we know we have to continue serving the needs of our clients, our exhibitors, and the people who join trade shows to generate business. Pack Print Plas Philippines VX

Pack Print Plas Philippines (PPP) VX, co-organized by Messe Dusseldorf Asia, will be the first trade show in the country to go virtual. This event is set to launch on October 8, 2020, and will be accessible until October 14, 2020. It is supported by three of the country’s most trusted associations in the industry: the Philippine Center for Print Excellence Foundation Inc. (PCPEF), the Philippine Plastic Industry Association, Inc. (PPIA), and the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP). In addition to the virtual expo, PPP will also hold a physical event from October 8 to 10 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

Global-Link MP emphasized that the virtual events are not intended to replace physical, in-person events. Both formats offer unique advantages, and events like Pack Print Plas Philippines and PHILCONSTRUCT will continue to hold their physical shows alongside the virtual editions. Jing Lagandaon, COO, stated, “You really cannot compare physical events to virtual events. Both have their own sets of advantages. While going virtual is certainly not a Band-Aid solution for us, we are serious about developing this here in the Philippines. By putting up VX Events, we are replicating the advantages and business opportunities found in physical trade shows and delivering them in a virtual space, giving people alternatives.”

Hotel Suppliers Show VX

The Hotel Suppliers Show VX will be the first fully virtualized event for hospitality business owners in the Philippines, launching on October 15 and running until October 21, 2020. This event is fully supported by top furniture makers in Manila, Pampanga, and Cebu: the Chamber of Furniture Industries in the Philippines, the Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation, and the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation.

Global-Link MP has exclusive rights to use the platform in the Philippines and has customized it to fit the local market. This event will be open for visitors from October 22 to 28, 2020. Top associations in the country have expressed their support for the upcoming virtual trade events. PHILCONSTRUCT VX

Following the postponement of its three regional shows, PHILCONSTRUCT is now prepared to cater to nation builders with its virtual expo from November 5 to 11, 2020. The virtual expo is expected to reach thousands of PHILCONSTRUCT’s supporters and regular attendees from Clark, Cebu, Davao, Manila, and other provinces.
