"How to Raise a Superstar" a parent's guide to raising successful kids someday

How would you like your children to be someday? A singer, an artist, a businessman, a pilot, an athlete? There are many ways of nurturing our kids so they will be successful someday in their chosen field. But learning from the "experts" is the best way to find out how to raise our children well.

In Niña Corpuz' book "How to Raise a Superstar," readers will realize that the success of some of today's big celebrities is highly attributed to their doting moms. They will also get to find out more about these mothers' parenting styles plus some untold stories about their children in this new book by ABS-CBN Publishing.

Niña interviewed Min Bernardo, Kathryn Bernardo's mother; Pinty Gonzaga, the mother of Alex and Toni Gonzaga; Dionisia Pacquiao, the famous mommy of Sen. Manny Pacquiao; and the only actress among the featured moms, Karla Estrada, known as the "Queen Mother" of Daniel Padilla. She then compiled their revelations in her much-awaited parenting book.

The author said the project aims to share parenting tips from popular moms highly acknowledged for the success of their celebrity sons and daughters and see how close they come to the saying, "mother knows best," shared the anchor/host in the book. "We chose them because they are almost as visible as or nearly as talked about as their children. This time we will hear their side of the story and see how close they come to the saying, "mother knows best," shared the anchor / host in the book.

Mama Ogie hosted the press con for Niña's book launch. He also has a book "Pak Humor" which will give not just laughter but inspirations to the readers.

The book highlights these personalities as certified moms. "After reading the book, you will realize that the people behind these superstars are superstars themselves. Two words - Super Moms, and there is a" said Niña who is also a mother of three.

Readers will discover how Mommy Pinty has raised versatile stars in Alex and Toni and her quick tips for both parents and children who want to make it big in the industry.

Mommy D told her story of how she raised a champion like Manny, and how prayers helped her raise good and obedient children.

Karla and Min gave insights on how they raised today's King and Queen, Daniel and Kathryn, and also revealed 10 fast facts about the two.

Niña also gave away a lot of prizes and surprises to all the media friends who were present at the event which was held in Restaurant 9501. Everybody got an early Christmas gift from her.

The book is not just for Moms who want their children to shine. It also talks about chasing dreams and dealing with failure, serving as an inspiration to dreamers who aspire to be superstars in different fields. It also includes advice from TV host and talent manager Boy Abunda, and tips behavioral pediatrician, Dr. Fancis Xavier Dimalanta.

"How to Raise a Superstar" is under ABS-CBN Publishing in partnership with Working Mom. It will be available by mid of December this year in leading bookstores and newsstands nationwide for only P225.00.
