Which is why I was so glad when Puratos, sent an invite to join their 30th year anniversary celebration which was held last October 24, 2018 at the SMX Aura in Taguig.
The celebration was huge with more or less a thousand of participants from as far as Quezon province in the south and Nueva Ecija in the north; and I think it was one of their grandest events ever - correct me if I'm wrong =).
The event started early at 10 in the morning with an energetic opening dance number, followed by a quick ribbon cutting officiated by Puratos Philippines' General Manager, Chito Medina; Puratos Regional Director Bernard Poplimont; and other Puratos' VIP's and guests.
It was then followed by a few messages of gratitude and inspiration from the important people behind Puratos success for over 30 years. The 6 booths where participants can enjoy delicious food and drinks and not to mention, freebies; were also introduced.
The Chocolate Museum booth features Puratos products such as the Carat which is a range of great-tasting compound chocolates and the newest offering from Puratos, the Chocolanté Gardener which is part of the Cacao-Trace sustainable programme that directly addresses the need for a more sustainable and transparent cocoa supply chain. For every kilo of chocolate you purchase, you’re helping better the lives of our cacao farmers in Davao – “Chocolate Bonus”.
The Summer Booth, Beat the Heat! whipped up non-dairy cream in partnership with Kenwood mixers that are inspired by the British flag. Participants also had a great time decorating their own cupcake while being blindfolded.
Asian Fine Patisserie gave away samples of pastries and sweets. It also featured their fruit fillings which people from the food business can get inspiration from.
Puratos Bakeshop featured soft bread applications and they also gave participants samples of their bread products.
There were also the Puratos World of Fillings and The Future of Bread Lies in its Past booths where participants had a memorable time sampling, joining activities and taking IG-worthy pitures of their display.
There were baking demos on stage from seasoned chefs Dirk De Vriendt and Benny Vervaeck. Local chefs such as Cai Gutierrez-Ladion shared piping techniques and RV Manabat taught how to make a no-bake chocolate mousse cake.
Too many happenings within a day. Too many prizes and surprises for everyone. Learnings and beautiful experiences here, there and everywhere. Maybe, this is the way Puratos Philippines pamper their customers. They want to give more than what they have received for the past 30 years of their service. So if you want to feel more love from Puratos, just download My Puratos Bakery App via Playstore and App Store. It will make your baking journey as easy as 1, 2, 3.
