Ergonomics & Wellness in the Workplace
Amazing fact: The happier your employees, the more successful your company becomes. The more companies succeed, the faster the economy grows.
Happy and valued employees are more creative, productive and dedicated than their unhappy counterparts. The bonus part? They’re more likely to promote your company culture to their family and friends and stick with the company for a long time.
The question is - How do you achieve this in a fun, cost-efficient and manageable way?
Studies show that workplaces that fail to prioritize their employees’ well-being lose 45-70 days of productivity each year. This also means an increase in sick leaves and employee turn-over.
It is never too late to understand the dynamics of the various programs available for the corporate workplace. Companies should make sure that they have the wellbeing of their important assets in
mind.
Conference Features
The conference was exceptionally engaging, especially during the keynote sessions, mainly “Government Initiatives to Create a Productive and Healthy Philippines”, “The New Law on Safety and Health: Maximizing Filipino Productivity for a Better Economy”, Ergonomics and its Effect on Human Well-Being and Productivity” and “Preventing and Reversing Chronic Diseases through Lifestyle Medicine”. These presentations gave new teachings and perceptions to our delegates when it comes to employee engagement, trainings and implementation of corporate wellness programs.
The conference also featured various breakout topics from ergonomics/productivity, to health/wellness and healing/therapy, that helped enable the audience to learn practical tips on physical and mental exercises which they can apply at work.
The panel discussions also gave attendees a better understanding of how we can increase health awareness among our employees, prevent occupational illnesses & injuries, and learn the best practices on workplace wellness programs.
The complimentary health screenings and assessments such as BMI analysis, blood pressure check, cholesterol and sugar check, biomed scan, posture screening, breast exam and osteopathy, among many others at the exhibition hall had a strong impact to delegates as they took the first step in taking care of their well-being.

This is a good idea... I love yung upuan na pwede ka mag exercise even at work.. Ang sarap naman nun.. Dapat ganun naman talaga para hindi lang yung owner ng businee and umasenso pati na rin yung mga workers.
