Acer Philippines Celebrates #AcerDay2023 and 20th Anniversary with Epic Concert Extravaganza

On August 6, a remarkable double celebration took place as Acer Philippines commemorated both Acer Day 2023 and its 20th anniversary with an electrifying concert at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Acer Day 2023: #AceYourWorld concert became a dreamlike spectacle, featuring a star-studded lineup that turned the event into a dream concert. The stage was graced by renowned Acer brand Ambassadors such as Sarah Geronimo, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, international sensation Sandara Park, and an impressive ensemble of artists, including Sunkissed Lola, December Avenue, Zach Tabudlo, Sponge Cola, Mayonnaise, Ben&Ben, and Ely Buendia.

"We carefully curated a lineup that would resonate with Filipinos of different generations, ensuring that everyone could partake in the concert and relish an extraordinary experience," shared Princess Laosantos, Senior Marketing Manager at Acer Philippines.

The SM MOA Arena was transformed into a vibrant hub of energy, with an estimated audience of around 15,000 individuals attending in person and countless others tuning in via Facebook Live.

Under the charming guidance of host Robi Domingo, Acer Day 2023, themed #AceYourWorld, transcended expectations and etched an unforgettable memory. The artists took the stage, performing their chart-topping hits, turning the event into an exuberant celebration where fans danced the night away. Notably, even Predator Gaming brand ambassadors joined in the festivities, enhancing the excitement with interactive activities and opportunities to win Acer products.

The enchanting evening commenced with Sarah Geronimo's enthralling performance of two songs, "Cuore" and "Alam," setting the concert in motion on a grand note.

Sandara Park, accompanied by the charismatic GForce Dancers, mesmerized the audience with a rendition of "Festival," the lead single from her self-titled solo debut mini-album. In a remarkable first, Sandara performed "T Map," "In or Out," and "I Am the Best" live before her Filipino admirers.

The beloved DonBelle duo, Donny and Belle, delivered a heartfelt duet of "Byahe" by John Roa, igniting kilig (a Filipino term for romantic excitement) among the concertgoers.

Despite their ongoing world tour, P-pop sensation SB19 took a moment to send a heartfelt video greeting to their Acer family.

Sunkissed Lola kept the momentum alive with electrifying performances of "Pasilyo," "Pakisabi," "Damag," and "Makalimutan Ka." The pop-alternative rock ensemble December Avenue followed suit, capturing hearts with hits like "Kahit 'Di Mo Alam," "Bulong," "Dahan," "Eroplanong Papel," and more.

Rock band Mayonnaise rocked the stage with an invigorating setlist, featuring crowd favorites such as "Bakit Pt. 2," "Synesthesia," "Kapag Lasing Malambing," "Tayo Na Lang Dalawa," and "Jopay."

Zach Tabudlo, a Filipino singer-songwriter, captured the audience's attention with stellar renditions of his hits "Give me your forever," "Pano," and "Binibini."

Sponge Cola took over with an energetic performance, belting out tracks like "Pasubali," "Tuliro," "Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay," and even offered a special rendition of "Jeepney" and "Puso."

The beloved Gen Z sensation Ben&Ben enraptured the crowd with an eight-song setlist, featuring favorites like "Ride Home," "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay," "Leaves," "Kathang Isip," and more.

To close the night on a triumphant note, Ely Buendia, a musical icon, graced the stage with timeless Eraserheads classics, including "Alapaap," "Toyang," "Pare Ko," and other hits that ignited nostalgia and enthusiasm among the audience.

Concertgoers secured their tickets through engaging social media contests hosted on Facebook and Twitter or by participating in Acer's Back-to-School promo. Every promotional purchase not only granted a concert ticket but also contributed Php 500 towards the GreenEarth Heritage Foundation.
