3 ways to enjoy your Ice Cream at the newly opened Cold Stone Creamery in Acienda Designer Outlet

Cold Stone Creamery, an ice cream shop named after their way of preparing their ice cream together with the mixins into their freezing cold and sanitized granite stone; has opened their 18th branch in Acienda Designer Outlet in Silang, Cavite last July 29, 2019. Unlike the other stores that can be seen in the metro, this branch is a lot bigger and inside is a pizza store named Pizza Warehouse. At the second floor, is another shop that will soon be opened for coffee lovers.

Pizza Warehouse offered only 2 flavors when we visit - Margarita (Php89.00 per slice) and the Classic (Php99.00 per slice). Both went well with the ice cream I ordered.

It was in 2016 when I first tried Cold Stone ice cream, that was during the Foodpanda food crawl event held in Alabang Town Center Muntinlupa City. I did not appreciate their ice cream that much because the flavor I chose - Cookie Doughn't You Want Some - was too sweet for me. But what settled on my mind is the way they entertain customers thru juggling and throwing/catching ice cream. I guess they are the only ice cream store offering that kind of entertainment.

Fast forward to 2019, I realized that their ice cream variants had changed a lot. I was surprised to see Mango Delight and pecans on the fix-ins. I'm a sucker for anything mangoes and nuts.

So how do you enjoy Cold Stone Creamery? Here are the ways :

Different ice cream sizes

► Choose your ice cream by the SIZE and FLAVOR

Sizes available are : Lick It ( in cone), Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It, Mine, Ours, and Everybody's. The Lick It size is only available in Super Premium flavors while the rest can be availed from all the flavors in the store. You can also choose to add a waffle cone or bowl for additional charge.

They will entertain you and they will serve your ice cream with a smile

► Create your own

First, you choose the flavor and size of the ice cream you want. Then choose your mix-in/s, there are around 10 to choose from. The first mix-in is free, additional mix-in is worth Php40.00 each. Lastly, add a cone or bowl - plain is Php45.00 while the dipped or sprinkled one is php50.00.

► Chill and Enjoy the Signature Creations

Choose from over 20 of their pre-created combinations of ice cream and mix-ins from the following flavors : Sweet Cream, Mint, Chocolate, Cheesecake, Coffee, Cake Batter, Strawberry and French Vanilla. During the grand opening, there were 10 mix-ins/toppings that can be chosen : sprinkles, gummy bears, toasted almonds, pecans, chocolate bits, marshmallows, cream oreo, raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry.

As usual, they will prepare your ice cream like an experienced bartender. For additional excitement, they will throw the ice cream for you to catch it. Don't worry, it's thick so you won't have to worry that it might slip out of the cup.

Aside from their ice creams, Cold Stone also offers ice cream cakes, shakes, and smoothies.

By the way, here's what I ordered :

This is the Cheesecake Fantasy using Cheesecake Ice Cream. It has Graham Crackers Pie Crust and it was mixed in with blueberries and strawberries.

I loved this variant because it is not too sweet and the combination of berries into the ice cream gave texture and

I also ordered my favorite Mango Delight which belongs to their Ready-to-Love Signature Creation. It tastes like heaven especially when it was combined with pecans. Sweet cravings fulfilled that day.

Coming from the north or Metro Manila : Ride the Nasugbu/Tagaytay buses

Coming from the south : Take a van or jeep to Tagaytay Market via Nuvali (Php50 - 80 fare); take a tricycle to Olivarez (Php10.00) then ride a jeepney to Acienda (php14.00).
