My most vivid memories about Sharp were the calculator, the analog/CRT television and the electric fans in the 90's. We don't have Sharp products at home because we don't have electricity in the province during my younger years, but whenever I would visit my relatives in the metro, it is the brand of appliances inside their house. Also, when I was in college, my first calculator was a Sharp.

During the millennium, I remember Sharp released LCD monitors and mobile phones. When we put up a computer shop in 2001, we had the Sharp LCD monitor for our server PC.

Starting its 8K related R&D in 2009, the world’s first 8K display launched in 2011, consequently the world’s first 8K LED TV (1st generation) was launched in Japan, China, and Europe in 2017. For the Filipino market, this will be SHARP 2nd generation 8K TV (8T-C80/70/60AX1). With this advanced technology, SPC surely retained its standing as the country’s most innovative appliance brand.
