Crate & Barrel gives back to the community

To give the customers a better shopping experience, Crate and Barrel, together with Cribs Foundation Inc., hosted a Shopping Day for a Cause at the SM Makati store on April 18, 2018.

The customers were treated to a retail therapy at Crate and Barrel and enjoy a special 20% off on all regular priced items from 10AM-10PM just for April 18. Crate gives back a part of the proceeds to the projects and efforts of Cribs Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization in the Philippines, providing a loving and safe environment for the abandoned, neglected, surrendered babies and minor female minor survivors of sexual abuse.

Likewise, Crate and Barrel is also upholding greater responsibility in encouraging inspiring conversations among their shoppers through Crate Conversations. First launched last February 28, 2018, this intimate, open mic talk aims to spark a dialogue between the speaker and the guests, to create a moving, dynamic, conversation not just with them, but among yourselves.

The second leg of the Crate Conversation highlighted on empowering women. Their guest speaker was a beautiful, talented woman who shared some of her fitness wisdom and the importance of a having a balanced lifestyle. Yoga and wellness advocate Marilen Elizalde is truly an admirable persona who also dabbles as an interior stylist. Her talent and eye for design, coupled with her passion for humanitarian efforts, makes her the perfect person to spark a great conversation.
